    “你能不能帮我一个忙？”白浅悦请求着。

    “你说说看？”前台小姐有些为难，但看到她一副紧张的样子，应该是有急事吧。

    “你帮我打个电话给他，说有位重要的客人找他。”白浅悦态度微谦。

    “这个..恐怖不行，会说英文的娜姐，不在这边？”前台小姐为难着。

    “没关系，你只要打通他房间的电话就可以了，其他我来说。你看可以吗？”白浅悦提议，“拜托了，我真的有很重要的事情找他。”

    前台小姐点点头，“我试试。”前台小姐拨通了电话，然后转给白浅悦。

    白浅悦拿着听筒，听到那边有人拿起电话了，“hello，who  are  you?”秘书接了电话

    “hello,  this  is  baiqianyue,i  want  to  speak  to  mr.robert。”秘书看向在一旁休息的robert，robert摇摇手，示意不接电话。

    “sorry,he  is  not  available.”秘书拒绝着。

    “please  hold.i  have  very  important  thing  want  to  tell  him,please  give  me  a  chance.”秘书看向robert。

    robert按了免提键。白浅悦继续说，“i  know  you  company  is  also  attaching  importantly  to  this  cooperation  opportunity,if  you  give  up  this  opportunity  of  compensation,in  that  way,our  previous  efforts  will  come  to  naught.although  our  company  has  a  wrong  earlier,i  hope  you  can  give  me  a  chance  of  compensation  ,please.”

    robert想了一会，开口说，“how  would  you  do。”

    白浅悦看到了一线希望。“about  the  details  ,i  want  to  tell  with  you  face  to  face,we  can  dwell  while  eating  lunch!how  about  you  .”

    robert不假思索着，如果最后能够签订这个合同的话，是可以给他们一个补偿的机会，毕竟之前也有合作过，并且公司为了这次合作作了很充分的准备，不能竹篮打水一场空。这么回去的话那之前的付出都白费了吧。

    白浅悦等着他的回复，“ok”

    白浅悦高兴着，“thank  you,i  will  waiting  for  you  in  old  place.”

    “okay.”

    白浅悦在前台借了一套手提电脑，上自己的邮箱将之前翻译的东西拜托酒店打印两份。白浅悦拿着合同文本在之前的地方等着。

    看到robert出来了，起身面带微笑伸出右手迎接他，“sorry  to  disturb  you  again.thanks  for  offering  the  chance  for  me.”

    robert礼貌地握住她的手。然后请白浅悦坐下，自己再坐下。

    白浅悦看向他的秘书，“can  you  let  your  secretary  sit  down?”

    robert  点点头，秘书便坐下来。

    白浅悦向服务员招手，服务员走过来了，对robert开口说。“it’s  time  for  lunch.what  kind  of  food  do  you  like?”

    robert  说，“i  am  not  particular  about  food.you  can  order  food  for  me.”

    白浅悦微笑着，”ok，i  plan  to  recommend  a  few  chinese  dishes  to  you,  i  think  you  will  like  it.”

    白浅悦对服务员说。“这里的特色菜都来一份，三菜一汤就可以了。”

    服务员点点头，“好的，请稍等。”

    白浅悦看向他，“mr.robert。we  can  negotiate  contract’s  concrete  issue  in  the  spare  time.this  chinese  contracts  was  translated  by  me  according  to  the  contact  you  drawn  up;i  am  very  familiar  with  the  contents  of  the  contract.but  i  have  a  few  suggestions  for  it,can  you  listen  to  my  suggestion?”

    robert  好奇地看着这个给他不一般感觉的女人，笑着点点头，“please”

    白浅悦用流利的英文说出了几点合同内容的建议。

    robert用好奇的眼光看着她，时不时点点头，脸上始终保持着笑容。

    白浅悦说完后，“what  do  you  want  to  add?”

    robert  心服口服地摇摇头，他拟定的合同本来就是以他公司的利益为重，对自己公司争取了多一点的利益，没想到这么细小的野心，却被眼前这个女人发现了。其实改一下合同，对本公司也没什么损失，如果想合作下去的话，也只能改一下合同。

    “no”

    白浅悦笑，“if  no  problem,can  you  modify  about  it  in  your  laptop?

    robert  对他的秘书说，“give  you  ten  minutes”

    秘书点点头，便打开自己随身携带的电脑，修改着。

    robert看着白浅悦，“are  you  major  in  english  ?”

    白浅悦摇摇头，“no。chinese  discipline。”

    “oh  no,i  can’t  believe  you  can  speaking  so  fluent.”

    “thank  you.”白浅悦浅笑。

    “i  guess,,you’re  not  just  an  assistant  .”robert的直觉告诉他，白浅悦并不是一个秘书而已，她集才华、胆量和能力于一身，比何紫妍更胜一筹。
